The truth about spiritual awakening

I find many spiritual individuals to be confused by the toxic energies that surround them. Many spiritual individuals may be sensitive or highly sensitive souls, trying extremely hard to navigate life and their unique challenges.

One could be dealing with narcissistic bosses, psychic intrusions, energetic flak, physical health problems, or mismanaged energies.

Regardless of the problem, I would like to assure you that many spiritual seekers are going through difficult spiritual awakening periods that bring up challenges at many levels (emotional, physical, energetic, psychic, or material).

If you are someone having problems in more than one area of your life, you have my empathy, my friend. It's tough, and I acknowledge that, as I was in your place once too.

In my experience with spiritual awakening, when there is more than one problem, it can lead to confusion that could mess with our thinking, emotional wellness, and self-confidence. We could begin to doubt our gifts, talents, voice, and the impact we can make in the world.

If you feel like you were negatively impacted by your spiritual awakening, I want to share that you're not alone, and as a well-wisher, I hope you give yourself approval to be okay to not be okay with the negativity.

My story of spiritual awakening

I began becoming more sensitive to emotions, energy, and thoughts (of mine and others) in 2020. It felt as though I was feeling the emotions, energies, and thoughts of 100 people in my body. Please bear in mind that I am not exaggerating. I would feel as though I couldn't stay in my body and had to constantly look for support to manage my sensitivity levels.

I visited many therapists, healers, and spiritual teachers. I learnt many healing modalities and educated myself about sensitivity. However, for a long time, I didn't see any results. I wasn't able to manage my sensitivity. All the spiritual tools and educational resources were merely helping me get through the next day.

One day, I went to an art workshop and realised that art was doing something to my sensitivity. It was soothing, grounding, and comforting my sensitive gifts. Every brush stroke was like a soft feather stroking my nervous system. I quickly had an idea to practise art everyday. Thus began my journey as an artist.

I would spend three hours each day to soothe myself through painting random artworks. I told myself not to judge my art and paint only what helps my gifts. Each artwork became a step forward, and it gave me the emotional strength I required to negate the confusing and toxic energies.

Through consistent practice, I realised that art dissolves confusing and toxic energies that surround our physical and energetic bodies.

Unfortunately, I didn't have anyone to teach me about my artistic practice and help me stay consistent, so I had to be my own Oprah Winfrey and motivate myself to keep painting and discovering my gifts.

Which is why, today, I provide coaching services for sensitive souls, highly sensitive souls, spiritual seekers, and painters to stay consistent with their art practise and embrace their artistic gifts. I want sensitive souls to feel supported and achieve results in a soft manner, especially because spiritual awakening could not be a soft process for many of us.

Focusing on transformation

If one has identified that there is a problem in their life, then that’s great, as problem identification is the first step towards getting to the solution. The next step is to accept that some change needs to be brought into one’s life. This change could be a change in direction, thinking, feeling, or action.

When it comes to supporting one’s sensitive or artistic gifts, I understand that one would have to work on many aspects of transformation like one’s mindset, emotions, inner child, self-love, thoughts, and spiritual gifts. One can begin to start painting to soothe themselves, which is commendable; however, soon enough, one could find themselves lacking consistency or motivation. One could feel as though they need more time to understand art or learn art.

I wanted to assure you that you’re not alone in feeling this way. At the end of the day, we are human beings, and we have to cut ourselves slack to be human and feel everything we feel. However, we also need to strike a balance and identify when to reach out for support ⸺ the right support.

You may be wondering, okay, you have shared so much with me openly. What do you do, Pranita? Who are you?

Sorry, I wanted to keep my introduction for the end.

Hi, I am Pranita Rao. I am a former dentist, published science author, intuitive abstract artist, and angelic medium. I paint and play with angelic energies for a living. I also write science stories for young adults and make art that is emotionally inspiring.

It is part of my purpose to mentor sensitive souls, highly sensitive souls, painters, and spiritual seekers to shift from a place of self-neglect and confusion to a place of self-love and self-acceptance of their sensitivity, spiritual and artistic gifts. When I say spiritual gifts, I include gifts like psychic gifts, emotional gifts, and energy gifts. When I say artistic gifts, I include gifts like painting, artistic ideas, and artistic visions for themselves and the world.

I also offer a course on the basics of high sensitivity and the impact of abstract art on one’s sensitivity. My online space has my art shop, which has art ready to be shipped to art lovers globally, and I have an art blog that is one of the loves of my life.

On a personal level, I am a semi-dramatic person who loves Taylor Swift and enjoys chatting with individuals from different countries, cultural backgrounds, and age groups. I am a tea lover, and although I am straight, I enjoy the company of individuals from the LGBTQI+ community. I am a firm believer in equality and having the right to express one’s true identity, regardless of what comes our way. Two fun facts about me are that I can become a notorious child with children and binge on tea on stressful days.

I imagine I have shared all the information you would need to learn about my work and my life. If you need someone like me in your life to coach you, please know that I would need you to support me in fulfilling my purpose to be a coach for sensitive souls too.

I love you, and I hope to see you on the other side (I mean on the other side of the screen on our first Zoom call :p).
