I know that a lot of people might be familiar with the term writer's block. Well, there is also something called the artist's block.
It is common for artists to have creative blocks. I consider it as a way for me to move on to an artwork that would be truly valuable and significant in my artistic journey.
The artwork in this article was created when I felt disconnected to my art journey.
I look at it now, and it gives me so much pride. I am truly proud of it.
It is not realistic to expect all artworks to be 'appealing' to my physical eyes or my inner self's eye. Sometimes, I have to spend time creating artwork that is more compassionate to the parts of me that need to express themselves. These parts may not look appealing on the canvas, however, they do take me to my next artwork.
The painting here is my bridge. It is my bridge that takes me forward.
