Art as a necessity

Updated: Jan 29, 2024

I often take part in workshops conducted by other artists. In doing so, I realize that not everyone is alike. There are some people who look at art with spiritual eyes; some create art to follow their passion, and some choose art as a mainstream career.

To me, art is a necessary path.

As an HSP, I have found that art is an essential tool that supports my journey. It motivates me to approach life with a positive outlook and has become an integral part of my HSP experiences.

Here is why:

A few weeks ago, I spent long hours working on a painting. It was, as if, there was a rush of inspiration pouring through my inner creative radar and onto my canvas.

It wasn't until later that day, I realized I was saturated. I decided to take a break from painting for the next few days. After two days, I could sense a void.

So, I decided to pick up my brush. When I did, I heard a part of me joyfully shouting, 'Hey! Where did you disappear?'.

I instantly began feeling happy. My pink and blue colors on the canvas were filling the void with joy. It was truly a happy experience. I could feel the word happiness in my body and mind (if you are an HSP empath, you will know what I mean!).

I truly believe that HSPs require art. In my experience, it can surpass our negative thoughts and self-critical attitude.

How about you? Do you feel like art is a necessity for you or your HSP trait in any way?

Let me know :).

Pranita

If you like my blog posts and find it useful, please share it with your fellow HSP friends and family. I wish for my art and my initiative to reach HSPs globally, hence, do click the subscribe button.

I am working on a free opt-in for my website and business. Ideally, it would be a free resource that can support HSPs to create a unique abstract artwork. As a part of my research to create the opt-in, I would like to invite HSPs to fill out a short google form. The information collected through the form would be utilized to create the free opt-in for my website, ‘Expressive Sensitive’.

I am now making my artwork available for sale internationally. I am asking the universe to find loving homes for my artwork, as I created them with a lot of compassion for my HSP journey. To buy my artwork, please visit: https://www.expressivesensitive.com/shop.

I am inviting HSPs and empaths for a trial abstract art session with me for a nominal rate (6 dollars for one 45-minute session). The aim of the session would be to work with abstract art to assess if it can support your HSP journey. To know more, send me an email with your enquiry at pranitarao62@gmail.com.
